
A rural Mountain Home woman, 21-year-old Courtney Ragland, who has seven prior bookings in the Baxter County Jail including several for drug offenses, was arrested for the 8th time Sunday evening on an outstanding felony bench warrant for delivery of controlled substance. She remains incarcerated on a $7,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in Baxter County Circuit Court.According to Baxter County Sheriff John Montgomery, investigators obtained the warrant after an informant had allegedly purchased approximately 1.1 grams of methamphetamine for $100 from her on March 13th. The drug transaction, which was monitored and recorded by investigators, took place at Ultimate Car Wash in Mountain Home.
Ragland was booked on felony charges of delivery of methamphetamine and unlawful use of a communications device. She also faces a penalty enhancement for being a habitual offender.
