“Reminiscing” concert to benefit Baxter County Historical Society

Two local bands are coming together in a benefit concert called “Reminiscing” to support the Baxter County Historical and Genealogical Society. The concert, featuring local band The Melodikats, along with special guests Burnin’ Daylight will be held Thursday evening at 7:00 in the Educational Building of the Baxter County Fairgrounds.Tickets are $15 each and are available locally at Square One Music, The Back Forty Restaurant, Century 21 LeMac Realty, the Mountain Home Chamber of Commerce, Old Tyme Restaurant on the Square, and at the Society’s Heritage Center or by calling 870-425-2551 to order will-call Tickets.

Tickets may also be purchased online by visiting the Society website at baxtercountyhistory.org/, on their Facebook page, Baxter County Historical Society, Inc., or on eventbrite.com.

Tickets will also be available at the door.

David Benedict, President of the Historical Society, says they are pleased to have this end of summer music event in support of the work of the Baxter County Historical Society.

According to Benedict, both the Melodikats and Burnin’ Daylight are made up of people from the Twin Lakes Area and performed earlier this summer at the Mountain Home Block Party, drawing large crowds.
