The Izard County High School golf teams competed in a six-team match at Tannenbaum at Drasco Thursday.
In boy’s action, the Cougars won the event with a 250, 13 shots ahead of both Concord and Mount Vernon-Enola. Izard County’s Tyler Pemberton was medalist with an 80, Matthew Workman shot 84 and Zach Williams had an 86.
On the girl’s side, Izard County only had one golfer, but Mikayla Kish was the medalist with an 85.
