Police say 3 died in separate crashes on Arkansas roads

EL DORADO, Ark. (AP)   Arkansas State Police say three people have been killed in separate vehicle crashes on state roads.

Reports say a juvenile, whose name wasn’t released, and 21-year-old Calen Summerville of Junction City died in separate crashes near El Dorado and 63-year-old Phillip Walker of Midland died in a crash near Midland.

Each accident occurred Thursday.

The juvenile was killed when the vehicle he was driving went off Highway 82 and struck a tree and Summerville died when the pickup truck he was driving crossed the centerline of Highway 167 and collided head-on with a tractor-trailer rig.

Walker died when the scooter he was driving went off Highway 252 in Sebastian County and struck a tree.
