The Baxter County Quorum Court will consider 11 items of business when it meets for its regular monthly session at 6:00 Tuesday evening.
Among the items of business is a resolution to enter into a lease agreement for the procurement of three Caterpillar motor graders through a 36-month lease agreement. In addition, the court will consider two changes to an updated version of the Baxter County Personnel Policy Manual approved unanimously at its July meeting. Those two changes concern the percentage of compensation increase for employees promoted to vacant positions with higher pay grades and increases in the cap for lodging for county officials and employees traveling in and out of state.
The court will also consider an ordinance to appropriate $10,000 in grant funds from the Northwest Arkansas Economic Development District for expenses related to the courthouse waterproofing project. An ordinance appropriating $25,000 from the Mountain Home Rural Fire Protection District toward the cost of the new dispatching system software will also be considered.
The Quorum Court will meet in the second-floor courtroom of the courthouse.
