A Theodosia woman, 51-year-old Sheila Delts, was seriously injured in a two-vehicle accident Monday. According to a report from Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at the intersection of Highway 160 and Route P. Missouri State Trooper J.O. Prater says a vehicle driven by 54-year-old Donald Parker of Gainesville struck Delts’ vehicle from the rear.Delts was transported by air to Cox South in Springfield with serious injuries.
A hospital spokesperson Tuesday says Delts is not listed as a patient.
Parker was transported to the hospital by private vehicle with minor injuries.
Both Delts and Parker were wearing a seatbelt in the 4:45 p.m. accident.
