Thomas Galluzzo, IV, of Midway will spend a year in one of the Community Correction Centers in the state, followed by six years probation, after pleading guilty to drug-related charges during a session of Baxter County Circuit Court Thursday.

The 19-year-old Galluzzo’s arrest stemmed from a compliance visit by parole and probation officers to a residence in Midway on July 3rd. The visit was made to check on Galluzzo who was on probation at the time and on his father, Thomas Galluzzo, III, who was on parole.

During a search of the residence, officers found numerous illegal items, including 4.2 grams of a white crystalline substance that field-tested positive for methamphetamine. They also found a small amount of marijuana and smoking pipes used to ingest both methamphetamine and marijuana.

The father is currently an inmate in the Grimes Unit of the state prison system located at Newport.

The elder Galluzzo, who is 49-years-old, has been booked into the Baxter County jail 10 times since 2013, primarily on drug-related charges.
