
The Great Bull Shoals Lake Cleanup is set for Saturday from 8:00 in the morning until 1:00 in the afternoon. Bull Shoals-White River State Park is sponsoring the cleanup on Bull Shoals Lake and surrounding area trails. Hikers, kayakers, canoeists, boat owners, and outdoor enthusiasts willing to participate should register at the James A. Gaston Visitor Center between 7:00 and 8:00 Saturday morning. Divers are asked to register at Bull Shoals Lake Boat Dock at the same time.Bags for trash, data sheets and a location for cleanup will be provided coupled with the knowledge of making a difference on a world wide scale by starting in the Twin Lakes Area’s backyard. There will be a cookout at the State Park Pavilion at the day use area, from noon until 1:00 in the afternoon, to return data sheets and receive a cleanup t-shirt and a meal.
