
A Harrison man, 33-year-old Timothy David Swift, has been arrested and is being held for a felony terroristic act charge, as well as possession of narcotics, after officers responded to the Pentecostal Tabernacle located on Silver Valley Road regarding shots fired Wednesday evening at approximately 7:30.According to Boone County Sheriff Mike Moore, when officers arrived on scene they found Swift hiding in a ditch. Reports given say shots were fired by the suspect in which the church was hit multiple times while members of the church were present inside.
There were no injuries as a result of the shooting. Swift was found to be in possession of a handgun which is suspected to have been used in the act. He is currently in custody at the Boone County Sheriffs Department.
No bond has been set at this time.
The report did not indicate what type of narcotics Swift allegedly had in his possession.
