The Baxter County Fair wraps up Saturday with a busy day of activities concluding with the band Eastern Heights of Branson taking the outdoor stage at 7:00 p.m.
The day’s activities begin at 10:00 Saturday morning with a kids workshop by Home Depot, the first Baxter County youth burger cook-off, the Bacchus Family Petting Zoo, and commercial booths opening.
At 10:30 a stick horse rodeo for children is scheduled.
The carnival opens at noon, with the 4-H poultry hen sale at 12:30, the parade of champions at 1:00, and the junior livestock sponsorship awards presentation at 1:30.
A chainsaw contest is set for 3:00, with lawnmower races at 6:00.
Admission to the fair is $5, with children under 6 admitted free.
