St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church scheduled its annual fundraiser for Gamma House this weekend. The church on Coley Drive in Mountain Home will hold its Bluegrass and BBQ event Sunday afternoon from 12:30 to 3:30.
Admission will be free to hear bluegrass music from the Gravel Yard Band. Barbecue lunches include sandwiches, chips and beverages and will cost six dollars. A homemade baked goods sale and a silent auction will also be included.
All proceeds will benefit Gamma House, the Twin Lakes Area’s homeless shelter for women and children. It’s a non-profit, faith-based organization providing safe, secure housing, spiritual support, life skills, parenting skills, budgeting and personal finance education classes and emotional support and connecting residents with communityh services.
