(AP) _ Records show a man who drove into five people outside an elementary school in southwest Missouri doesn’t have a driver’s license.Springfield police say 35-year-old Lonnie Yeager struck three students and two staff members outside Campbell Elementary school on Monday.

A Missouri Department of Revenue spokesman tells the Springfield News-Leader that Yeager doesn’t have a driver’s license in any state in the U.S.

Police say a 10-year-old boy died from injuries from the collision. The other two children are in stable condition, while the two employees have non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say Yeager may have had a medical episode while driving, but impairment isn’t currently a factor in their investigation.

A phone message left by The Associated Press seeking comment from the Springfield Police Department on Yeager’s status wasn’t immediately returned.
