Greenwood wins 6A girl’s golf championship, MH third

The Class 6A Girl’s State Golf Tournament wrapped up Tuesday at Big Creek Golf & Country Club in Mountain Home with Greenwood winning the team championship. The Lady Bulldogs had a two-day total of 527 to finish 21 strokes ahead of Siloam Springs. Mountain Home finished third.

Greenwood’s Sydnie Gamble won the individual championship with a two day total of one over par 145. Mountain Home’s Kenzie Collins finished third with a 170. Collins qualified to compete in the overall tournament which features the top three finishers from each classification. The Lady Bombers’ Sydney Czanstkowski finished fourth with a 173.

Also for Mountain Home, Kori Schauffler shot 232, Kennedy Wyatt had a 251 and Haley Czeschin shot 275.
