
Prior to the regular scheduled session of the Cotter City Council meeting at 6:00 Thursday evening, the council will hold a workshop at 5:00 in the Cotter Council chambers.As the regular meeting convenes the council will hear reports from the Public Works Department, the Fire Department and the Police Department. The council will also hear a building permit report and a report from the Planning and Zoning Commission.
Under old business, CPA Brain Hass will present the 2016 Water Audit report.
Under new business, Deanna Burleson will address the council regarding an occupational license at 1177 West Main Street.
The council will also consider two resolutions, one to set tax levy (mills) assessed in 2017 to be collected in 2018 and the other to apply for an ANRC loan for ductile iron replacement.
A discussion on extended repairs to the Cotter caboose is expected to take place.
A new part-time officer, Joel Richardson, will be introduced and a Building Inspector for the City of Cotter will be considered.
