Justinna Curlee of Mountain Home was given five years probation after changing her plea to guilty on drug-related charges during a session of Baxter County Circuit Court Thursday. An Arkansas State Police Trooper stopped the car Curlee was driving on U.S. Highway 62/412 in late March. During the stop, the trooper questioned the 35-year-old Curlee — whose eyes were reported to be “droopy” and her pupils constricted — about any pain killers she might have taken. She denied taking any prescribed medications, but did admit she had smoked methamphetamine.
A smoking pipe normally used in the ingestion of methamphetamine was found in the vehicle, along with a pill identified as being a Schedule 4 controlled substance, according to the probable cause affidavit filed in the case.
