A Yellville woman, 24-year-old Caitlyn K. Bradford, has pled guilty in Marion County Circuit Court to felony charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, and was sentenced to three years supervised probation. The crimes are punishable by up to six years in prison.

Bradford has been in the Marion County Detention Center since August after walking away from a drug treatment center and also faced two failure to appear misdemeanor charges. Those charges were dropped as part of the plea agreement.

Bradford, wanted on a warrant, was arrested in late June after a call came into Bull Shoals City Hall advising she had been seen at the Bull Shoals Lake Boat Dock.

According to the arrest affidavit, an officer from the Bull Shoals Police Department attempted to locate Bradford at the boat dock and followed a vehicle from that location for two blocks where it pulled into a business parking lot. After confirming the outstanding warrant, the officer, with the assistance of two other law officers, conducted a search of the vehicle Bradford was a passenger in. Bradford allegedly told officers there was methamphetamine in the vehicle, and it belonged to her.

Officers located a black box holding three plastic bags containing a clear, crystal type substance field testing positive for methamphetamine, along with a pipe. The combined contents of the bags totaled 1.6 grams.

She was ordered to pay over $2,400 in fines and to forfeit any seized property associated with her arrest.
