
Volleyball, cross country and softball make up the local Saturday schedule.
The postseason will get underway for the Mountain Home High School volleyball team. The Lady Bombers will have home court advantage to begin the 6A-East Conference Tournament as they welcome Little Rock Hall to the Twin Lakes Area.
Mountain Home comes into the match at 17-7 on the season. The Lady Bombers are the second-seeded team in the tournament, and Hall is the number seven seed.
Mountain Home head coach Lindsey Leonard says her squad has the talent to compete for the conference title, but they need to concentrate on one match at a time.

Mountain Home’s freshmen volleyball squad will also begin its 6A-East Conference Tournament on the campus of Jonesboro High School. The Junior Lady Bombers’ first opponent will be Annie Camp. The first set gets underway at 10 a.m.
The Mountain Home cross country program will host its annual fundraiser Saturday morning. The Run with the Bulls gets underway at 8:00 on the high school campus.
Ava’s high school softball team has a trip to Springfield on the line. The Lady Bears will be on their home field as they meet Kelly in the quarterfinals of the Class 2 State Tournament. The first pitch is scheduled for 2:00.
