Arvest Concert Series features two-time Global Music Award recipients

The Arvest Concert Series at Arkansas State University-Mountain Home (ASUMH) will feature two-time Global Music Award recipient, Todd Mosby and the New Horizons Ensemble Thursday evening at 7:00. The show will take place in the Ed Coulter Performing Arts Center inside the Vada Sheid Community Development Center on the ASUMH campus.An Arvest Concert Series endowment at ASUMH, means the concert is free and no tickets are required. The annual Arvest Concert Series features one free concert in the fall and one in the spring each academic year.

The six member ensemble has toured from New York to San Francisco. Known as a genre-defying folk, jazz, world fusion ensemble, the group includes Grammy nominated and winning performers delivering an acoustic instrumental mix with virtuoso flair.

Featured instruments include vocals, woodwinds, acoustic guitars, lap steel, piano, bass and percussion.

The ensemble includes: Todd Mosby (Global Song Peace Nominee, Global Music Awardee, composer, guitars), Premik Russell Tubbs (Santana, Sting, Jeff Beck), Jeff Haynes (Pat Metheny, Joni Mitchell, Herbie Hancock), Michael Manring (Michael Hedges, Will Ackerman, Mark Isham), Lola Toben (singer, pianist, songwriter), Bryan Toben (singer, guitarist, songwriter).
