4 arrested following compliance check

Four people have been arrested following a compliance home check Wednesday by the Arkansas Department of Community Correction.

Baxter County Sheriff John Montgomery says investigators from his office were called to assist in the visit along County Road 492.

Five individuals were found at the home of 35-year-old probationer Keith Trivitt.

During the course of the probation search, officers found a small amount of methamphetamine and various items of drug paraphernalia inside the residence. A female in the residence, 32-year-old Amelia Pittaway of Mountain Home, was inside a bedroom where methamphetamine and paraphernalia were found. Pittaway asked to use the restroom and used a concealed hole in the wall to escape from the bathroom into another room in the house, but was quickly apprehended.

Following the investigation, Trivitt was charged with felony counts of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also charged by citation with two misdemeanor offenses on an unrelated investigation involving theft of utilities.

He was on bond from a previous arrest, with a bond of $6,000 on the most recent charges. He has a total of 28 bookings in the Detention Center since 2000.

Pittaway faces the same felony drug charges and a misdemeanor count. She has a total of 15 bookings in the Detention Center since 2013.

In addition, 31-year-old Denver Lloyd Baumgardner of Norfork was arrested and charged with a felony count of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine. His bond was set at $5,000. Baumgardner has a no bond hold for a parole violation. He has been booked into the Detention Center seven times since 2005.

The fourth person arrested, 21-year-old Sabrina Anderson of Mountain Home, was charged with a felony count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bond was set at $2,000. Anderson has five prior bookings in the Detention Center since 2016.

All four arrested individuals are set to appear in Baxter County Circuit Court to respond to their charges.

A fifth person at the residence was released without charges.
