A traffic accident on Missouri Highway 5, four miles south of Gainesville, Wednesday evening has injured a Pontiac teen. According to a report from Missouri State Highway Patrol, 16-year-old Shelby Kinsey was northbound when her vehicle traveled off the right side of the highway and struck a culvert and trees. Her vehicle was totaled.She was transported to Baxter Regional Medical Center with moderate injury. Information on her condition was not available at the time of this report.
Kinsey was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the 5:45 p.m. accident.
