Nineteen-year-old Austin Pool, from Calico Rock, was chosen to open for award winning artist Keith Anderson, at the Arkansas State Fair Saturday evening at 5:00. He will be performing a 45-minute set that will feature his new song, Redneck Fantasy, written by local singer and song writer Cassie Hall. Pool is currently the Arkansas State Fair senior vocal solo champion and is quickly gaining recognition locally as well as in Nashville.
He was selected as a second round finalist on NBCs the Voice as well and finished in the semifinals of CMTs Country Showdown. Most recently, Pool has been featured on the Grand Ole Oprys original radio station, 650 WSM and was invited to return a second time to sing live with the Grand Ole Opry band this past August. Pool is currently in the process of recording and releasing his first CD and video of original music.

Concerts at the Wendy’s main stage, where Pool will be performing are free with paid gate admission. Upgraded premium seating may be purchased separately and gate admission is sold separately.
