
The Mountain Home High School volleyball team will be a three seed for the state tournament after topping Jacksonville 3-1 Thursday in the third place match of the 6A East Conference Tournament at Bomber Gymnasium. The Lady Bombers won by scores of 25-13, 25-18, 22-25 and 25-10.
Maly Tabor led the way with 16 kills, Charlie Pierce had 14 kills, Grace Beckham served five aces and Leah Jackson collected 37 assists.
Mountain Home is now 19-8 on the season and will open play in the Class 6A State Tournament at Greenwood Tuesday afternoon at 4:00 against the sixth place team from the 6A West.
