Basketball makes up the local Saturday schedule as the Twin Rivers Classic comes to an end at Norfork. Cotter’s girls tip off at 10 a.m. against St. Joe, the Calico Rock boys meet St. Joe at 11:30, Cotter’s boys face Alpena at 1:00, the Calico Rock boys take on Alpena at 2:30, Norfork plays a doubleheader against Nemo Vista starting with the girls’ game at 4:00, and Omaha will have back-to-back games against Concord at 7:00.
The conclusion of the Bad Boy Mowers Classic will be played at Izard County High School in Brockwell. Bradford and Dermott will play a doubleheader beginning with the girls’ contest at noon, and Izard County’s back-to-back games against Greers Ferry West Side start at 2:30.
On the junior high level, Cotter, Lead Hill, Valley Springs, Omaha and Western Grove will compete in the Jasper Junior Invitational Tournament, and Viola, Mammoth Spring and Izard County will take part in the Bill McCurley Invitational Tournament at Sloan-Hendrix High School in Imboden.
