
“Genetic Genealogy” by Mike Engle is the topic of the Baxter County Historical And Genealogical Society’s regular October session. The meeting will be held Tuesday evening at 6:00 in the Knox Room of the Donald W. Reynolds Library.
Engle is a Mountain View resident, and he has conducted genetic genealogy and genealogical research since 2011. He has spoken all over Arkansas about how to research family history and how to combine genetics with traditional genealogy reseach, and his presentation will explain Genetic Geneaolgy and its helpfulness to family tree research. Engle will explain the number of different DNA tests available and help determine the most helpful test to individuals.
