
Mountain Home Public Schools and its Board of Education are seeking veterans who left high school before graduation to serve in World War II, Korea or Vietnam in order to grant them diplomas.
Veterans must have been honorably discharged from the military, reside in the Mountain Home School District and have served a minimum of 18 consecutive months’ active duty or were discharged with a service-related disability. The time frame for eligible service is from September 16, 1940 through December 31, 1946 for World War II veterans. For Korea veterans, the time frame is from June 1, 1950 through January 1, 1954. For Vietnam veterans, the time of service must be between July 3, 1965 and May 15, 1975.

The diplomas are awarded to qualifying veterans in accordance with Acts 216 and 453 of 2003.
The veterans will be recognized as part of the school district’s Veteran’s Ceremony on November 3 at 9:00 a.m. in the high school gymnasium.
