A Missouri woman suffered moderate injuries after a one-vehicle accident Friday night in Ozark County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 48-year-old Rhonda Johnson of Battlefield was transported by ambulance to Baxter Regional Medical Center from the scene eight miles east of Gainesville.
Johnson was reportedly traveling northbound on Missouri Route J. Her vehicle ran off the left side of the roadway and traveled down a steep embankment. A hospital spokesperson says Johnson was not listed as a patient.
Johnson’s vehicle was totaled in the 10:50 p.m. accident.
