Three members of the Baxter County Fair Board were recognized for 20 or more years of service during the annual volunteer appreciation dinner this week.
State Senator Scott Flippo and Representative Nelda Speaks recognized the three with citations from the legislature and U.S. and state flags.
Konnie Coleman was recognized for 27 years of service, while Terry Johnson and Fair Manager Paula Bailey were both recognized for 20 years of service.
Fair board president Glenn Priebe says there are several factors contributing to the success of the Baxter County Fair and one is the 20-member board with a combined total of 229 years experience.
