An Ozark County woman suffered serious injuries following a one-vehicle accident Friday morning in Howell County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 32-year-old Andrea Martin of Dora was transported by a private vehicle to Ozarks Medical Center from the accident scene 12 miles west of West Plains.
Martin was reportedly traveling eastbound on Missouri Route CC when her pickup truck ran off the right side of the road. She overcorrected, and the truck ran off the left side of the road, impacted an embankment and overturned. A hospital spokesperson says she is not listed as a patient.
Martin was not wearing a seatbelt in the 8:15 a.m. accident. Her truck was totaled.
