Basketball makes up the local Saturday schedule as Mountain Home’s high school and freshmen boys will take part in a preseason jamboree at Jacksonville. The Junior Bombers will meet J.A. Fair at 11:30 and Hot Springs at noon. The high school team takes on J.A. Fair at 12:30 and Fort Smith Northside at 1:20.
The Battle on the Hill Junior High Tournament gets underway at Lead Hill. The first round will have five doubleheaders as Mount Judea and Kingston tip off at 10 a.m., Norfork faces Deer at 12:10, Bruno-Pyatt plays Bergman at 2:30, Flippin will be paired with Omaha at 4:50, and St. Joe meets Lead Hill at 7:10.
