The 13th annual Veteran’s Appreciation Dinner will be held Saturday morning from 11:00 until 3:00 in the afternoon at the Elks Lodge located at Highway 62 East and Club Boulevard. The event is open to all veterans of any era, their spouses, family and guests. Veterans and spouses are free. The cost for all others is $5.00 and includes dinner, dessert and a soft drink. Brats, beer for $1.00 a cup and chili will be served and musical entertainment will be provided.The event is sponsored by Mountain Home’s Elks Lodge #1714, VFW Post #3246 and Alley-White American Legion Post #52 and their auxiliaries.
