Junior Lady Bombers suffer first loss of season, other hoops results

In high school basketball Wednesday night, the Arvest Bank Tournament continued at Flippin. The Mammoth Spring boys lost to Deer 62-56 in overtime.

Sagen Godwin paced the Bears with 18 points while Brett Mayfield and Daniel Mayfield each scored 13.

The Mammoth Spring boys fall to 6-3 on the season.

In junior high hoops, the Mountain Home junior girls lost at the Cure CMD Tournament at Bentonville West High School for their first loss of the season. The Junior Lady Bombers fell to Bentonville 43-35.

Emily Payne topped the score sheet with 13 points.

The Junior Lady Bombers fall to 4-1 and will play again Saturday at 2:30 in Bentonville.
