Twin Lakes Area residents who might be alone for Thanksgiving, or are unable to cook a meal for the holiday, have a couple of options. The Salvation Army’s community center, at 121 State Highway 201 North in Mountain Home, will be serving the traditional feast of turkey, ham, side dishes and desserts, at no charge, from 11 a.m. Thursday until 1:30 p.m.

Wesley United Methodist Church, located at 179 Memory Lane just off of U.S. Highway 62/412 in Cotter, will also serve a free Thanksgiving dinner from 12:00 to 2:00.

Reservations are not required for either location, and although there is no charge, donations will be accepted.

The phone number for Salvation Army is 870-424-5708 and the number for Wesley United Methodist Church is 870-435-2500.
