A Marion County resident has become a big winner courtesy of the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery. Charles Geinosky of Bull Shoals claimed his prize of $250,000 after scratching a Big Money Multiplier instant ticket.

Geinosky is retired after working 41 years in the elevator business. Nearly a year ago, he relocated a few blocks from Bull Shoals Lake from Illinois to live his life-long dream of fishing everyday and to spend time with his son’s family who recently moved to Bull Shoals from Chicago. Geinosky says he plans to use his winnings to start a college fund for his 11-month-old granddaughter.

Geinosky purchased his winning ticket at the Exxon station in Bull Shoals.
