Cotter splits with Sloan-Hendrix in Thursday’s basketball action

The Cotter High School basketball teams split a pair of games Thursday as they hosted Sloan-Hendrix. The Lady Warriors took the girls’ game over the Lady Greyhounds 50-39. It was a different result in the boys’ contest as Cotter was edged out by Sloan-Hendrix 63-30.

Two local schools continued action in the Bradleyville Invitational Tournament on Thursday. In girls’ action, Bakersfield routed Lighthouse Christian, and Lutie fell to Bradleyville 80-26. On the boys’ side, Bakersfield lost to Wright County Home School 57-48, and Lutie was defeated by Bradleyville 53-39.

Dora’s boys picked up a 71-49 victory at home over Winona. The Falcons improve to 7-2 on the season, and they’ll face Norwood Tuesday to begin the Cabool Holiday Tournament.
