The Izard County High School boys’ basketball team was bounced from the NEA Invitational Basketball Tournament Tuesday in Jonesboro. The Cougars fell in the Division I semifinals as East Poinsett County posted the 71-62 victory. Justus Cooper led Izard County with 37 points, and Caleb Faulkner chipped in 16.
