
The annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service Volunteer Fair is set for Saturday from 10:00 until 2:00 at the Donald W. Reynolds Library Serving Baxter County.
Karen Lau-Kimbriel, Volunteer Coordinator with the local library, says anyone interested in volunteering is invited to attend this open house event to learn about volunteer opportunities in the community.

While the advertised deadline for booth space is Thursday, Lau-Kimbriel says slots remain available and accommodations can be made for those still wishing to showcase their non-profit organization. Community organizations that would like a booth, at no charge, need to register at baxlib.org or call 870-580-0976.
In case of inclement weather, the Volunteer Fair will be rescheduled for Saturday, January 20th.
The event is sponsored by the Donald W. Reynolds Library Serving Baxter County, the Mountain Home Chamber of Commerce and Harp’s.
