Motorists in the Twin Lakes Area will need to exercise caution while traveling. The Sunday morning snowfall has led to most local roads being covered.
The map on idrivearkansas.com and the MoDOT Traveler Information Map show the major highways in the Twin Lakes Area as being covered. A spokesperson for the Baxter County Sheriff’s dispatch says the county’s side roads are slick, but the main roads are safe for travel. A firefighter from the Lick Creek Fire Department in Ozark County says Arkansas Highway 201 North going into Missouri Route J is covered, and he asks motorists to use alternative routes for safer travel.
