A Mountain Home woman, 49-year-old Deanna Lee Green, was arrested Wednesday evening following a domestic incident in which she allegedly attacked her boyfriend with a knife.

Mountain Home Police Chief Carry Manuel says when officers from his department responded to the domestic disturbance, they met with the male victim who said Green was intoxicated. He told officers during a verbal altercation, he acquired Green’s cell phone. The Mountain Home woman then began hitting him and demanded the phone back.

At some point, Green grabbed a butcher knife and began threatening the victim. The victim started recording the incident with his own phone, capturing Green demanding the phone and raising the knife in a threatening manner and stabbing the countertop. The victim then escaped and went outside to his vehicle. He then began recording again when Green approached him in the driveway. Green is seen hitting the victim demanding her phone. An 11-year-old juvenile was also present during the incident.

Green has been charged with a felony count of aggravated assault, along with two misdemeanor counts, including endangering the welfare of a minor.

Her bond was set at $5,000, and she is set to appear in Baxter County Circuit Court early next month.
