A two-vehicle accident Monday afternoon in Ozark County sent a Tecumseh man to Cox South Medical Center by air ambulance.
Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper C.J. Mendez reported a vehicle driven by 76-year-old Everett Newmann hit a parked and unoccupied vehicle in Tecumseh, crossed U.S. Highway 160 and struck an embankment.
The report noted Newmann was transported by air ambulance in serious condition.
Moderate damage was reported to Newmann’s vehicle, with it towed from the scene. Minor damage was reported to the parked vehicle in the 1:00 p.m. accident.
