Arkansas State University-Mountain Home is preparing for its second-annual Truck Party this week at the Vada Sheid Community Development Center. The event, benefitting the ASUMH Foundation, will be held Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 in the Sheid’s McClure Convention Center as a 1972 Chevrolet pickup truck will be given away.
Tickets for the truck, donated by Pirate Nation Custom, will be $50 per person and will include a number corresponding with a ping pong ball placed in the drawing. Businesses and individuals giving gifts or sponsorships valued at $500 or more will receive two complimentary admission tickets.
Attendance to the Truck Party is necessary to be eligible to win the truck. In addition, over 30 smaller prizes will also be given away. Attendees are encouraged to dress casual, and a cash bar will also be available.
