Students from Mountain Home High School attended Lyon Colleges annual Academic Day competition last Saturday and took home a few wins. They were able to showcase their skills in the fields of math and science.In the area of Chemistry, MHHS student Madelyn Yates won first place, Bradley Ludwig won second place, and Koby Weber won third place. Simon Podsiadlik won second place in the Physics category and third place in the Precalculus and Trigonometry category. Madelyn Yates also won second place in the Algebra II category.
This year, 130 students from 12 school districts participated in the competition — taking a total of 191 exams.
