A member of the Buffalo National River Partners will speak at the group’s next event Tuesday evening. Master naturalist Linda Glass will present “Housing Butterflies with Native Plants” at 5:30 at the Boone County Library located on West Stephenson Avenue in Harrison.

Glass says she learned to appreciate the natural world and developed an interest and a love for wildflowers through her mother. She is a retired public school science teacher who has continued to study and learn abut the importance of native plants and their relationship to other living things.

Glass has an undergraduate degree in biology and education. In addition to the Buffalo National River Partners, she is also a member of the Friends of Baker Prairie and the North Central Arkansas Master Naturalists.
