Courtesy of StarVista LIVE!The Hues Corporation isn’t one of the acts on board, but some of the other big stars of the disco era are preparing to “Rock the Boat” and boogie across the Gulf of Mexico next year on the Ultimate Disco Cruise.

Scheduled to run from February 14 to February 19, the cruise will feature KC and the Sunshine Band, Kool & the Gang, Gloria Gaynor, The Village People and Tavares.

The cruise will set sail from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and will stop at Key West and Cozumel, Mexico, before returning to port.

Serving as host of the cruise will be none other than Deney Terrio, one-time emcee of the Dance Fever variety show and the man who taught John Travolta his dance moves for the classic 1977 movie Saturday Night Fever.

Other acts slated to perform on the extravaganza include Evelyn “Champagne” King, Thelma Houston, The Trammps featuring Earl Young and former Chic singers Norma Jean Wright, Alfa Anderson and Luci Martin, as well as the popular tribute group The Australian Bee Gees Show.

“I don’t know when you will ever see a group of these great dance music phenoms ever again in one place,” says Terrio. “I’ve never seen a better lineup.”

KC and the Sunshine Band will play one special show during the cruise, on February 17.

“I can’t wait to get on this cruise, to have fun with you and to do what I love doing,” says the group’s frontman, Harry “KC” Casey. “That’s making music and sharing good times with you.”

In addition to dozens of music performances, the cruise also will feature artist Q&A sessions, celebrity-hosted happy hours, theme nights and costume parties, dance classes and parties, talent competitions, game shows and a wine tasting.

Cabin prices start at $1,499. Visit UltimateDiscoCruise.com for more information.
