Twenty-three new business licenses were issued by the city of Mountain Home during the month of March, according to Roberta Pack from the City of Mountain Home Building Inspector’s Office.City records indicate seven of the licenses issued were for home-based businesses. Those businesses include General Mines Imports, LLC, a tobacco products importer; Horn Plumbing, LLC, an out of city plumbing business; Legacy Estate Sales, an estate sales business; Kaleb Butler Lawn Care, a lawn care business; Pagni’s Handyman Services, a handyman business; Ice Heating and Air, an HVAC business; and Dana’s Commercial/Residential Cleaning, a cleaning service.
Other business licenses were issued to Beltone Hearing Aid Center, a hearing aid sales and service business, located at 110 Dyer Street; Mountain Home Burger Company, located at 38 Paul Wood Lane, a carry out burger shop; Westrock Orthodontics, a dental office, located at 300 Highway 5 North; VSA Designs Inc., a wholesale distributor, located at 308 East 7th Street; Vacstore.com/Vacs Etc., a vacuum sales and service, located at 217 B South College Street; Cafe Crepes, a cafe and restaurant, located at 900 Highway 62 East; Janet Pickett Tax and Bookkeeping Inc., a tax and bookkeeping business, located at 711 Bradley Drive; Midwest Medical Manufacturing, a surgical instruments-eye surgery business, located at 806 West Road; Mark Thomas Media and Cinematography, an online advertising and media service, located at 404 South 3rd Street in Flippin; BRMC Rheumatology Clinic, located at 310 Buttercup Drive Suite C; Smith Pool Pro and Spa, a retail sales and service business, located at 621 Jubilee Trail in Norfork; and Edward Jones, a service stockbroker/dealer, located at 22 East 7th Street.
Four business licenses were issued to new owners for existing locations including Dusit Thai Inc., located at 920 Highway 62 East, two E-Z Mart locations at 1030 Highway 201 North and 913 East 9th Street and Lockeroom Inc. located at 1209 Highway 62 East.
Total licensing revenue reported in March was $41,522, which includes $7,896 for alcohol tax and licenses, $33,512 for occupation licenses, $25 for pet licenses, and $90 for garage sale licenses.
