A Boone County man, 41-year-old Clint Eugene Phillips of Lead Hill, has been arrested for failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements.
Marion County Sheriff Clinton Evans says Phillips was arrested in Boone County, where he remains incarcerated for a probation violation.
No further details on the circumstances of the arrest were provided.
Bond for Phillips was set at $2,500. He is set to appear in Marion County Circuit Court later this month.
