
A motion for a change of venue is sustained for a man from Mountain Grove who allegedly stabbed two women in Douglas County last fall.Hometown Daily News reports the case against 24-year-old Jeremy Delk will now be tried in Ozark County. Court records indicate a three-day trial will be scheduled by Judge Elizabeth Bock on May 14th.
Delk is facing two counts of first-degree assault, two counts of armed criminal action and one count of second-degree sodomy.
The morning of November 17th, 2017, officers responded to a report of a double stabbing south of Mountain Grove near AE Highway in eastern Douglas County.
According to a news release, Douglas County Sheriff Chris Degase and Wright County Sheriff Glenn Adler arrested Delk from underneath a porch at a home in the area.
Two women were treated for stab wounds and were released from a Springfield hospital.
Delk remains jailed in Ava on $75,000 bond.
