
A Mountain Home man, 41-year-old Chadwick Dale Whitlow, was arrested Saturday after a Mountain Home Police officer was dispatched to a local restaurant. According to Mountain Home Police Chief Carry Manuel, Whitlow remains incarcerated in the Baxter County Detention Center on a $2,958 bond.The arrest affidavit in the case notes a caller reported a male was unresponsive and sitting in a vehicle in the parking lot. The caller said Miller had injected a substance.
Officers discovered Whitlow in the driver’s seat of the vehicle with it running. He was awake and allegedly told the officers he had Oxycodone and a syringe in the vehicle.
Whitlow is a probationer with a search waiver on file.
The officers recovered a bottle with 10 pills identified as Oxycodone, a used syringe, and a metal bowl with narcotic residue. He performed a Standardized Field Sobriety Test and was ultimately charged with DWI drugs.
He faces felony charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He also faces a charge of DWI, second offense, and a probation violation.
Whitlow is scheduled to appear in Baxter County Circuit Court.
