
The Mountain Home High School softball team had a dominating performance Saturday as they swept a pair of games at Jacksonville.
The Lady Bombers began the day by pounding the host Lady Titans 10-1. Reagan Hasselwander picked up the win in the circle. Maly Tabor led the Mountain Home offense with a pair of singles, two runs and an RBI; Grace Gilbert had a base hit, scored a run and drove in three more; Bella Bevel provided a hit, a run and two RBIs; and Marcie Cudworth added a hit and two runs.
The Lady Bombers followed up by beating up on Pine Bluff 10-2. Mountain Home was led by Tabor with three singles and three RBIs; Gilbert had three hits, a run and an RBI; Sydnie Zimmer provided two hits and scored three runs; Bevel had a single, a run and two RBIs.
The Lady Bombers improve to 11-13 on the year, and they’ll finish the regular season Tuesday at Searcy.
