Local doctor attends cutting edge surgeons conference

Dr. Eric A. Arp of Mountain Home recently attended the 76th Annual Scientific Conference of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons in Nashville. The conference featured some of the most advanced curriculum in the profession.

While at the conference, Dr. Arp attended training sessions on the topics of forefoot and midfoot reconstruction, chronic ankle pain, ankle arthroscopy techniques, and the latest advancedments in ankle joint replacement. He also attended presentations showcasing innovations in the field of biologics and regenerative medicine.

According to Dr. Arp, the conference, “provides an opportunity to learn from some of the greatest professionals in the field of podiatric medicine and to explore the most advanced treatment modalities.”

Over 2,000 foot and ankle surgeons from around the world attended this year’s conference.

Dr. Arp is a Baxter Regional Medical Center foot and ankle surgeon, a board certified surgeon in foot surgery, and a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He has been in practice in Mountain Home since 1996. At his Mountain Home clinic location, Dr. Arp provides both surgical and nonsurgical treatments for a variety of foot and ankle problems.
