After a day off Monday, the St. Louis Cardinals return to action Tuesday night as they begin a three-game series at home against the New York Mets in a battle of first place teams. The Cardinals are 13-8 on the season and are pecentage points ahead of Milwaukee in the National League Central. The Mets are 14-6 and lead the National League East by half a game over Philadelphia.
Luke Weaver (2-1) gets the start for the Cardinals while Zack Wheeler (1-1) goes for New York.
